Research Interests:

  • My research interests are in preventing community and hospital transmission of multidrug resistant organisms such as MRSA and MDR gram negatives. I am working on a CCTS funded research project which focuses on finding clusters of MRSA colonization in the community surrounding a hospital. This will include screening ED patients for MRSA and geocoding their location in the community with future plans of decolonization of specific groups in the community.

Recent extramural grants submitted:

  • Submission in progress for a K08 grant through AHRQ.
