Research:

  • Dr. Hoet’s current research interest is on the epidemiology of zoonotic and foodborne pathogens, such Methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), Escherichia coli (E. coli), and Salmonella, as well as the molecular epidemiology of antimicrobial resistance associated with these pathogens.
